This notice explains in plain language what information Asia Connect collects when you use it, and what your rights are. It is not a legal document — it is an honest, straightforward explanation.

Who Are We?

Asia Connect is an English learning platform. The AI coach is called Myli. The platform is run by CB Connect (Patrick Higgins). Contact: dodecahedron108@gmail.com

What Information Do We Collect?

When you use Asia Connect, the only information we keep is:

The language you chose
Your job sector (e.g. Hotel Reception)
Your classroom code, if your trainer gave you one
The date and time you had a session
A random number that represents your device — this number has no name attached to it

What We Do NOT Collect

We do not store your chat messages. Once your conversation with Myli ends, it is gone. We cannot read it again.

We also do not collect:

Your name
Your email address
Your age or date of birth
Your employee number or any other work ID
Any medical, religious, or other sensitive personal information

Why Do We Collect This Information?

We use this information to: count how many people are using the platform, see which languages and job sectors are most popular, help your trainer or HR manager see how their group is using the platform, and improve the service over time.

Who Else Sees Your Information?

Your information is processed by the technology companies that run our platform:

Cloudflare (USA and EU) — our hosting provider
Anthropic (USA) — the AI company that powers Myli. Your messages are sent to them so Myli can reply, but they do not store them
Resend (USA) — our email service, used only for feedback notifications

We do not sell your data to anyone. We do not share it with advertisers.

How Long Do We Keep Your Information?

We keep your session information for 12 months. After that, it is deleted automatically. If your organisation stops using Asia Connect, we will delete all data associated with your organisation within 30 days of being asked to do so.

Your Rights Under GDPR

Right to access — you can ask us what information we hold
Right to correction — you can ask us to correct any wrong information
Right to deletion — you can ask us to delete your information
Right to complain — you can complain to your national data protection authority if you think we have handled your data badly

Is Asia Connect Safe to Use?

Yes. All information is sent over an encrypted connection (the padlock in your browser — TLS 1.3). We collect much less information than most websites. Your conversations with Myli are private — they are not stored and cannot be read by your employer, by us, or by anyone else after the session ends.
